Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Prowlyn, including the web app at app.prowlyn.com, the Prowlyn API and MCP endpoints, and the website at prowlyn.com (together, the “Service”). Prowlyn is operated by All Business Technologies (“ABT”, “we”, “us”), based in Boston, Massachusetts. Our mailing address is One Boston Place, 201 Washington St #2610, Boston, MA 02108. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you can bind that organization to these Terms.

1. The Service

Prowlyn audits websites for SEO and answer-engine optimization (AEO), and reports on things like technical health, content, rankings and citations in AI answers. Results depend on third-party data and on how search engines and AI systems behave, which we don't control. We don't guarantee any ranking, traffic or citation outcome.

2. Accounts and security

• You need an account to use the app. Give accurate information and keep your password and any API keys confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us right away at if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
• Changing your account email: the change takes effect only after you verify the new address with the link or code we send to it.
• Our support team may access your account to resolve issues or investigate security concerns.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Plans and prices

Prices are in US dollars and don't include taxes. You're responsible for any applicable sales, use, value-added or similar taxes, which we'll add to your charges where the law requires. What each plan includes (limits and monthly credits) is shown on the pricing page and in the app. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. We may change our prices. We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect, and it applies from your next renewal after that notice. If you don't agree to the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. 7-day trial

• Every plan starts with a 7-day trial. A payment card is required to start it.
• Your card is charged automatically on day 7 for the plan you chose, unless you cancel before then. We send reminder emails before the charge.
• One trial per card, per email address and per domain. “Domain” means the registrable domain, including its subdomains: for example, example.com, www.example.com and blog.example.com all count as one domain.
• Credits included with the trial don't carry over into your paid plan.
• The trial charge is not refundable.

5. Credits

• Some actions use credits. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance.
• Credits reset every month on every plan, including yearly plans.
• Unused credits don't roll over to the next month.
• When your credits reach zero, actions that need credits stop until your next reset.
• Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or refunded.

6. Upgrades, downgrades and cancellation

• Upgrades take effect immediately. We charge a prorated amount for the rest of your current period.
• Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. There's no partial credit for the rest of the current period.
• Cancel anytime. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your plan doesn't renew after that.

7. No refunds

All payments are non-refundable, including trial charges, renewals, unused time after cancelling or downgrading, and unused credits, except where the law requires otherwise.

8. Payments

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We don't store your full card number. You authorize us to charge your payment method for your plan, renewals and upgrades as described above. If a payment fails, we'll email you and retry the charge over the following days. If it still hasn't gone through after the retries, we may suspend your access until the balance is paid. Updating your payment method in the app restores access once the payment succeeds.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• audit, crawl or test websites you don't own or aren't authorized to analyze in a way that breaks the law or the site's terms;
• use the Service to overload, attack or disrupt any website or system, including ours;
• get around plan limits, credit limits or trial rules, including by creating multiple accounts;
• resell, sublicense or share access to the Service except as your plan allows;
• reverse engineer the Service or scrape it, except through the API we provide; or
• use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

10. Your data

You keep ownership of the data you put into Prowlyn and of the reports it produces for you. You give us permission to process that data only to run, secure and support the Service for you. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Google Analytics and Search Console

If you connect Google Analytics 4 or Google Search Console, you authorize Prowlyn to read data from those accounts with read-only access, to show it in your reports. You can disconnect at any time in Prowlyn or from your Google Account's third-party access settings. Our use of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements; see the Privacy Policy.

12. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, listed in our Privacy Policy. Their availability and data affect what Prowlyn can show. We aren't responsible for third-party services we don't control.

13. Our intellectual property

Prowlyn, its software, design and brand belong to ABT. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Audit findings and recommendations are guidance, not guarantees.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ABT won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify ABT against third-party claims, and related losses and reasonable costs, arising from your misuse of the Service, your content or data, or your breach of these Terms. We agree to defend you against third-party claims that the Service itself, as we provide it, infringes that party's intellectual property rights, and to pay resulting damages finally awarded or agreed in settlement. Our obligation doesn't cover claims caused by your content, by your combining the Service with things we didn't provide, or by your breach of these Terms, and it's subject to section 15. The party seeking defense must promptly notify the other, give it control of the defense and reasonably cooperate.

17. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time (see section 6). We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, don't pay, or if we must for legal or security reasons. After your account is closed or your paid access ends, you'll have 30 days to export your reports and data by signing in or by asking . After that, we delete or anonymize your account data as described in our Privacy Policy, except records we must keep by law.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you and ABT consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact so we can try to resolve it informally.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, the new Terms apply.
